School Rules:

 

1.      Safety First.  Whenever performing individual exercises or working with a partner, be careful to pace yourself and use good control.  Your partner’s safety is your responsibility.

2.      Protective equipment is required for sparring class.  Contact is light to the chest and midsection.  The head and groin are targets, but light contact is only allowed when a face cage is worn.  The purpose of this class is to develop technique and strategy, not force.

3.      Please be punctual in arriving for class.  Also, keep your uniform clean, and don’t forget to check in on the computer.

4.      Observe the standard courtesies (even when we’re not busy); please change only in the changing rooms or bathroom.  Remember to turn off the bathroom light when you leave.  Please help keep the reception are open and uncrowded: forego changing, putting on gear, stretching, etc.

5.      I will show Leadership. I will strive to better myself and inspire those around me so that I may become a more valued citizen of my city, state, and country.

6.      I will show Knowledge. I believe the choices I make today will affect what I will have, what I will be, and what I will do in the tomorrows of my life. I am full of possibilities and potential.
